We had to play a lot with what would work best for me as I am a cancer survivor and have very thin and sparse lashes. Getting the adhesive in the tube is a game changer as I can dip the ends of the lashes and adhere them better to what I do have. The key to retention for me is to use the adhesive with the want and dab glue every 3-4 days at the base of my lashes. I took mine off today after 12 days and they were still very stuck. Without the extra adhesive I struggled to maintain them for very long but I have a system down now. Picture is after 11 days.
